3 Ingredient Pistachio Madeleines Recipe

These three ingredient pistachio madeleines are as quick to make as they are delicious, and really do only need three ingredients to make.

To make three ingredient pistachio madeleines, you'll just need sweet pistachio cream, eggs, and plain flour. That's it.

Because the pistachio cream is already sweet, you don't need to add any additional sugar. When choosing your pistachio cream, it's best to pick the one with the highest percentage of pistachio you can find for the best flavour.

The resulting little pistachio cakes are super moist, rich, and perfect eaten with a cup of tea.

Ready? Let's go.

(Makes 18 large madeleines.)

Ingredients:

300g pistachio cream
2 eggs
60g self-raising flour

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and lightly oil a madeleine pan.

2. Stir the pistachio cream, eggs and flour together in a bowl until smooth.

3. Scoop the cake batter into a piping bag, snip off the tip of the bag, and pipe the batter into the cavities of a large madeleine mould. You can also use a dessert spoon to dollop spoonfuls of the cake batter into the mould if you don't want to use a piping bag.

4. Bake for about 10 minutes, or until puffy and golden brown on top.

5. Cool on a wire rack before unmoulding and eating.

Enjoy, and have fun.
